Annual German Poetry Contest for the State of Georgia

KENNESAW, Ga. (Oct 10, 2011) — The German Studies program is happy to announce a successful 4th annual statewide poetry contest. German learners from all over Georgia were invited to submit poems about the topic "Vergnügungen"  (Pleasures/Hobbies). Students from 11 Georgia high schools submitted a total of 227 poems. Winners were chosen by language level during this week's KSU German Culture Week.
