KSU Political Science graduate named CAO and Associate Vice Chancellor for University System of Georgia

 

KENNESAW, Ga. (Dec 17, 2009) — The Department of Political Science and International Affairs is proud to announce that Kennesaw State University Political Science graduate John M. Fuchko III has been appointed chief audit officer and associate vice chancellor of Internal Audit for the University System of Georgia (USG) by Chancellor Erroll B. Davis Jr., effective Dec. 1.

Fuchko graduated magna cum laude from Kennesaw State in 2000. While at KSU, he edited the student newspaper, served as vice president and president of the Student Government Association and chaired the USG’s Student Advisory Council to the Board of Regents in 1999-2000. He was named Kennesaw State’s Student of the Year that same year and was invited to speak at the university’s Spring 2000 Commencement and Fall 2006 Convocation.

Fuchko has been on the board of the KSU Alumni Association since 2004 and is currently its first vice president.
