KSU students do well in 2017 Japanese Speech Contest

 

KENNESAW, Ga. (Mar 7, 2017) — Last Saturday, three KSU Japanese students challenged the Annual Japanese Speech Contest hosted by the Japanese Consulate of Atlanta, the GA Association of Teachers of Japanese, the Japanese Chamber of Commerce and the Japan-America Society of GA held at Mercer University. There were a total of 28 participants in this contest.

Ashly Altman ("Learning about Japanese") and Jarrod Ariola ("My winter break"), both of JPN 2001, and Hayley Decker ("Continuing my dream") of JPN 3302 made outstanding presentations of their speeches. Special congratulations to Hayley, who placed 3rd.
