KENNESAW, Ga.
(Jun 14, 2016) — The Department of History and Philosophy is proud to announce that Dr. Dover's new
book Secretaries and Statecraft in the Early Modern World, has just been published
by Edinburgh University Press. Adopting a genuinely international and comparative
approach, it brings together the work of a dozen scholars working in five different
countries to examine the roles played by secretaries, chancellors and ministers in
effecting foreign policy in regimes spanning from Tudor England to Mughal India.
