Alums tout value of KSU education

KENNESAW, Ga. (Sep 1, 2020) — As much as Kennesaw State University students enjoy their college days, they often develop an even greater appreciation for their KSU experience after they graduate and truly see the value of their degree.

Learning in and out of the classroom, Kennesaw State students expand their career possibilities, increase their knowledge of the world and build a foundation for lifelong learning. KSU alumni in a variety of disciplines are seeing how the university’s student-centered focus is now benefitting them in their careers.

Nikolas Baranco, a 2019 graduate with a degree in Modern Language and Culture, is currently serving as an International student and scholar coordinator at Georgia Tech.

“KSU’s program granted me the opportunity to critically study a language with amazing faculty. I gained global experiences through my academic studies, and my study-abroad trip was a priceless experience. At KSU, I was involved in Housing and Residence Life, campus tours and Student-Athlete Success Services. I wanted to continue working in higher education after I graduated, and the roles I held at KSU really prepared me to continue working with students.”
