What is the Parenting Support Program?

This program is designed to build a support network for students who are parenting while attending Kennesaw State University. The Clinical Director of Children & Family programs shares parenting techniques and skills to help student parents manage the responsibilities of home and school. Participants will become part of a network specially designed to support and enhance their experience as students who parent that will ensure the achievement of their academic goals.

What does the Parenting Support Program consist of?

Each 60-minute session will focus on different relevant topics for positive parenting, such as how to promote positive peer relationships, manage negative behaviors, and how to support their virtual learning during this time of COVID-19. Each participant will receive a Student-Parent Toolkit which contains resources available at KSU and in the community to support parents who attend college.
