Discipline-Specific Interactive Presentations
The ODE has partnered with various department representatives to create several interactive presentations to help your students engage with topics important to your classes. There are several platforms the presentations are shared on. Which platform you use for your classes is up to you. Right now, we offer:
- Presentations hosted on OwlTrain: This is a platform preferred by many faculty, as students can successfully complete the training once and transfer the completion across semesters. You can have your students submit certificates of completion by creating an assignment dropbox. You can follow our How to Link an OwlTrain Course to D2L tutorial for assistance with this process.
- Presentations hosted in D2L via SCORM Packages: Dropping a SCORM package into D2L allows you to host the presentation in your course. You can integrate the SCORM package with your D2L gradebook by following our How to Install SCORM Packages tutorial.
If you have an idea for a presentation topic, please reach out to either Patrick Carter or Lesley Gabel to discuss your idea!
