Contacting Your Advisor
If you need to contact your advisor, please read the information below carefully before doing so.
Please note that scheduling an appointment will be the best way to speak to your advisor. However, if you are unable to do so, you may contact them via email. When emailing, please be sure to do the following:
- Please correspond with your advisor using your KSU student email only
- In your initial email, please include your KSU ID#
Please remember that this is a very busy time for all advisors on campus. The advisors are diligently working to answer your questions as quickly as possible.
To ensure that advisors have the opportunity to answer in as timely a manner as possible, you MUST email the individual listed based on academic major/last name.

How Does a Virtual Appointment Work?
The University utilizes Microsoft Bookings for scheduling advising appointments. After scheduling your appointment, you will receive a confirmation email containing a link to join the virtual space. Please be sure to use your student email when scheduling and double check for any spelling errors.
