Description:

This 14-hour training focuses on divorce and custody cases with specialization in domestic violence, with role plays for screening and safety planning. This training will reflect the DV screening and DV process rules. CLE available at cost.

PREREQUISITES

· 40-Hour General Civil Mediation Training & Practicum OR in lieu of practicum

o (5 Observations of court connected mediations with an experienced mediator).

· 42-Hour Domestic Relations Mediation Training

· 12-Hour Domestic Relations Practicum OR in lieu of practicum

o (Observe 1 DR mediation & Co-mediate 2 DR mediations with an experienced DR mediator in court connected mediations).

· Registered in the Domestic Relations category with the Georgia Office of Dispute Resolution.
