The mediation clinic provides pro bono services to the Kennesaw State University community.
Mediation is a process of using a third party neutral to faciliatate dialogue and negotiation between parties in a dispute to reach a collaborative agreement. If no agreement is reached, then parties will be provided other resources to assist in settling the dispute.
Mediation is a confidential process for every person involved in the mediation process including observers.
Mediators are registered with Georgia Office of Dispute Resolution who are experienced
in the field of mediation (civil, domestic and juvenile cases). The School of Conflict
Management, Peacebuilding, and Development offers graduate students who are registered
with the Georgia Office of Dispute Resolution the opportunity to observe mediation
cases or co-mediate with an experience mediator in the KSU Medation Clinic with permission
of all parties.
