Conflict Coaching “At Risk Children” for Attorneys & Court Officials

Description of Workshop:

This workshop will explore “At Risk” children with a focus on the foster care environment in Georgia. The facilitator will investigate conflict and impact on children in the foster care system. The workshop will explore conflict theories and the how of using conflict coaching as an alternative ADR method working with “At Risk” children. This is for people who are directly involved with the foster care system (Attorneys, CASA workers, Court officials etc)

*This workshop has been approved by the Georgia Office of Dispute Resolution for 6 CE’s (continuing education credits)

**This workshop has been approved by the Georgia State Bar for 6 CLE’s (continuing legal education credits) & one hour ethics credit

Trainer:

John Martin, John Martin is a LSU alumni with a BA in Political Science and a MBA and has his JD from Southern University Law Center. John is an accomplished family law attorney with over 21 yrs. of private practice experience, a member of the Louisiana State Bar, an entrepreneur, civil mediator, arbitrator, and conflict coach with extensive domain expertise in family law (divorce, complex child custody, adoption, and foster care), elder law, and business law. John also is an active CASA volunteer with Atlanta CASA.
