Session 1:  

The Micropolitics of Nonviolence: Managing Masking Conflict

When: Thursday, March 25 11:30AM-1:00PM lunch and learn

Where: Virtual Zoom session

This lunch and learn will focus on how one can use the principles and practices of nonviolence in inter-personal relations. Using the example of conflict surround mask-wearing in our communities as a case study, the session will engage participants in active learning and role playing based on the concepts discussed.

Session 2:

The Macropolitics of Nonviolence: Addressing the Complex Structures of Contemporary Social Conflict

Promoting Social Justice

When: Thursday, April 1 11:30AM-1:00PM lunch and learn

Where: Virtual Zoom session

This lunch and learn will focus on how one can use the principles and practices of nonviolence at the societal level. Using the example of racial justice protests in the United States as a case study, the session will engage participants in active learning and role playing related to structural, cultural, and/or direct violence.
