• When and where will the 2024 GAS annual meeting take place? 

  The meeting will be held at Kennesaw State University in Kennesaw, Georgia March 1 through March 2

• Which KSU campus is hosting the 2024 Annual meeting of the GAS?

  The meeting will be held on the Kennesaw Campus, not the Marietta Campus at Kennesaw State University. 

• When are submissions due? 

  Submissions are due on Monday, December 4, 2024 and should be submitted to the section chair. 
   

• When will submitters know if their proposals were accepted? 

  Notifications will be sent by Section Chairs on January 10, 2024.

• Will meals be provided? 

  Friday will include mid-afternoon snacks and a reception with hors d’oeuvres at the Tellus Science Museum. A continental breakfast will be available Saturday morning. The Saturday Awards Luncheon will be held in the upper room at KSU’s Commons Dining Hall.

• What’s new at the 2024 meeting? 

  Psychology was recently added to GAS, so our 2024 meeting will incorporate presentations from psychological sciences. Our keynote speaker, for the first time, will be a renowned psychological scientist from the Department of Psychological Science at Kennesaw State University, Dr. Ebony Glover!

• Are minors allowed to attend? 

  Minors are welcome to attend, but must be accompanied by an adult.

• What is the recommended poster size?

  We recommend 36” x 48” for posters. We will provide Velcro stickers that you can place on the back of your posters to mount to our poster boards.
