Principal Investigator

Dr. Ebony Glover, Ph.D.

Dr. Glover is an Associate Professor of Psychology and Neuroscience at Kennesaw State University in the Department of Psychological Science. She has devoted her career to conducting impactful research while exposing undergraduates to the joys of scientific discovery. She has an established background in a broad spectrum of techniques in mental health research, from using procedures in behavioral pharmacology and biochemistry for studying basic fear mechanisms in rodents, to using psychophysiology and neuroimaging to characterize biomarkers of posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) in humans with high risk for trauma exposure. Dr. Glover is a proud graduate of Spelman College, an all women's, historically black college, which she credits for exposing her to opportunities in biomedical research and sparking her research and academic career. She received her Ph.D. in the Neuroscience and Animal Behavior Program in the Department of Psychology at Emory University.
