SGIA Student Award Winners

KENNESAW, Ga. (May 13, 2020) — Congratulations to all of our Spring 2020 School of Government and International Affairs Student Award Winners!

 

Congratulations to Beau Hill, our 2020 Annual Scholarship Award winner! Beau is a Political Science major whose studies focus on political theory, comparative politics, and statistics. After graduating in May 2021, Beau plans on pursuing a masters degree in business analytics. Congrats!

 

 

Congratulations to Joseph King, SGIA's 2020 Outstanding Student in Political Science! After graduation, Joseph has his sights set on attending law school here in Georgia. Look for him to make his mark in the field of campaign law!

 

 

Congratulations to Dana Gallaty on earning the 2020 Outstanding Student award in the Master of Science in International Policy Management program! During her studies, Dana worked with Dr. Hallward on international humanitarian law, conflict prevention, and peacebuilding.

 

 

Congratulations to Nicholas Smith, our 2020 award winner for Outstanding Student in the Master of Public Administration program! Nicholas will graduate with a dual MPA/MBA in May and plans to continue research on organizational learning and development in civil society.

 

 

Congratulations to Katie Poe, our 2020 award winner for Outstanding Student in International Affairs! After graduating this spring, Katie plans to attend graduate school and pursue a career in international advocacy for human rights, with the ultimate aim of working for the UN!
