Certificate in Intelligence and Homeland Security
This certificate is designed for students of any major who are interested in careers in homeland security or other intelligence-related fields. This certificate focuses upon developing the analytical skills necessary for a successful career within these fields: research, writing, and verbal presentation skills. In pursuing this certificate, students will gain exposure to case studies relating to the policies and politics associated with homeland security and the US Intelligence community while gaining knowledge of various regions throughout the world.

You can declare this "stand alone" Certificate through the Change Major portal in Owl Express.
Once you have declared this certificate in Owl Express, it will appear in Degree Works through the drop/down window - and your progress in this certificate will now be trackable in Degree Works! This certificate can be awarded upon the completion of the certificate requirements and is not dependent upon completion of the degree program. Once complete, you can petition for a hard-copy Board-of-Regents recognized certificate to hang on your wall next to your Diploma!
