Using DegreeWorks: When? Monday, Sept 12th at 1 PM OR Thursday, September 15th at 10 AM
DegreeWorks is the software we use to keep track of what classes you need to complete your degree. Come to this workshop to demystify your major by learning HOW to interpret your DegreeWorks as well as learn some of the tools built into the program.
GPA Workshop: When? Monday, Sept 12th at 10 AM OR Thursday, September 15th at 1 PM
Have you ever wondered: What does GPA stand for and why is it important? How can I improve or maintain my GPA? What resources does KSU have to help me meet my GPA goals? Come to this workshop to find out the answers!
Finding your Voice: When? Monday, Sept 19th at 10 AM OR Thursday, September 22nd at 1 PM
You are your best advocate for your education, but how do you advocate for yourself if you need to raise a concern with your professor? If you have no idea where to start or if you are nervous about talking to your professor in general, come to this workshop to learn more about how to professionally ask questions and/or raise concerns.
Planning for the Unplanned: When? Monday, Sept 19th at 1 PM OR Thursday, September 22nd at 10 AM
Have you ever wondered: What happens if you get an F in one class? What happens if you get an F in all the classes? What does Academic Probation even mean? What is Academic Dismissal? Ideally, you will never need to know this information, but if you want to plan for the worst-case scenario, come to planning for the unplanned to learn what these terms mean and what would be expected from you if this comes to pass.
