Dr. Darina Lepadatu selected for first Diplomacy Lab Initiative

KENNESAW, Ga. (Apr 25, 2019) — Dr. Darina Lepadatu, President Elect of Georgia Sociological Association, has been selected by the US Department of State to provide research assistance for their Office in International Labor Affairs. The research will review and evaluate the various accountability mechanisms through which labor complaints can be made or labor violations can be highlighted, as well as the history of their use. In collaboration with doctoral students from the PhD Program in International Conflict Management, this project marks the inauguration of the Diplomacy Lab Initiative at KSU which engages student and faculty talent in partner universities around the country (currently only 36) in solving some very real challenges being faced by US Foreign Service Officers.
