Dr. Daniel Farr Receives Distinguished Contributions to Teaching Award

The Department of Sociology and Criminal Justice would like to congratulate Dr. Daniel Farr for receiving the Distinguished Contributions to Teaching Award from the Southern Sociological Society. The award honors individuals, departments, schools, institutions, or other collective actors for their outstanding contributions to the teaching of sociology at the undergraduate and/or graduate level. Recipients of the award are not only outstanding classroom teachers, but they also go beyond their institutions to benefit the discipline as a whole.
