Tom Burns received a BS in Technical Communication in 2003, a MS in Information Design in 2007, and a PhD in Technical Communication and Rhetoric from Texas Tech in 2015. He has worked as a document designer and technical illustrator for AutomationDirect, since 2004 and is currently focusing on developing queriable illustrations for the conveyance of technical information.

Caitlin Hussey is a digital marketer in Atlanta. She is currently the head of marketing for a technology solutions startup in Alpharetta. Her work recently involved building a brand identity and a new marketing department from scratch; and she plans, develops and executes a variety of marketing campaigns. Professional areas of interest include brand, corporate social responsibility, and smart technologies that drive real-time engagements.

Matt Harlos is a digital marketer and designer based out of Atlanta. He graduated in 2017 with a B.S. in Technical Communication, and is currently the Director of Marketing & Design for a technology startup in Buckhead. Matt's work with his current company, Gimme, often has him finding creative and unusual ways to market to an older and traditionally under-served industry. He manages all marketing and design efforts within the company, developing and running campaigns from start to finish.

 

Cristina Guerra is a designer in Atlanta, but is originally from Venezuela. She is currently a junior designer at a marketing agency and works on both print and web projects. She graduated with a B.A. in New Media Arts and a minor in marketing.

Jingyu "Beatrice" Li graduated with a degree in New Media Arts in 2015. She is originally from China and now lives in downtown Atlanta. Beatrice currently works at the Weather Company branch of IBM as a product designer. She is passionate about doodling, petting furry animals, and cooking.

Morgan Ott is a UX designer in Atlanta, GA. She is currently pursuing a master's degree at Georgia Institute of Technology in Human-Computer Interaction. She has an interest in VR as it relates to UX, the Internet of Things, and Universal Design.

Chavez Procope is a UX designer enjoying life in Atlanta, but originally from St. Kitts. He started his studies in Architecture at SPSU, but graduated with a degree in New Media Arts. He has no regrets about that decision. He currently works at a marketing agency on a variety of websites, apps, and other online interactive experiences.

Zoey Zhang is currently working with a software engineering company as an in-house designer. Her work includes graphic design, motion graphics, and illustrations. She love to stay current in design by getting involved in both online and local design communities.
