Japan Foundation Grant Award

KENNESAW, Ga. (Aug 27, 2014) —

Project Director Kathryn Negrelli was recently awarded the $25,000 Salary Assistance Grant for Japanese Language Courses (Year 2) from the Japan Foundation. The grant allows further growth of the Japanese language program, expanding its course offerings to support the B.A. in Asian Studies. Japanese class offerings have doubled from 2013 to 2014, which includes a Japan study abroad in summer, 2014 as well as 3000-level courses from fall, 2014.
