National Geographic Giant Traveling Map of Asia arrives at KSU

KENNESAW, Ga. (Jan 30, 2008) — Entering the lobby of the Social Science Building you will see a Giant Map of Asia on the Atrium floor. It is on loan from the National Geographic Society and will be on display until February 18th. This event is hosted by the Georgia Geographic Alliance and the Department of Geography and Anthropology.

The map was designed for school children, however it can also be intriguing for adults. When school children and teachers are not using the map, you and your students are welcome to walk on it. There are only two rules: 1) NO SHOES, and 2) NO FOOD OR BEVERAGES.

To arrange a class visit to the map, please contact Nicole Vallencourt at avallenc@kennesaw.edu or 678-979-2373.
