CHSS in the News: AJC Highlights Award Nomination of Two Creative Writing Faculty

KENNESAW, Ga. (Apr 24, 2020) — Two CHSS faculty members were recently highlighted in the Atlanta Journal Constitution (AJC) for their nominations for the Townsend Prize for Fiction. Tony Grooms, Director of the Masters in Profession Writing Program and Professor of Creative Writing, and Andy Plattner, Professor of English and Creative Writing, both in the Department of English were nominated for this award given by the Chattahoochee Review in partnership with the Georgia Center for the Book for the writer with the best novel in the state of Georgia.
