Mentoring Moments

KENNESAW, Ga. (Oct 20, 2022) — Restarting an old initiative of his, Dr. Crowder began "Mentoring Moments" with guest speakers from the U.S. Secret Service.  Seventy or more students attended the presentation on the Secret Service and learned not only about the agency and the hiring requirements, but also about investigations and technology used in crime solving.  Dr. Crowder said, "It was very exciting to see so much interest in spending 90-minutes with investigative professionals from U.S. Secret Service.  The agency has always been very supportive of our CJ program and students."  More Mentoring Moments are planned with the next one, Women in the CJ Arena, aimed at mentoring and guiding female students in opportunities in the criminal justice career paths on November 16th.
