Congratulations for our History students who received undergraduate research awards from CETL.

KENNESAW, Ga. (May 1, 2017) — Savannah Beeson, Margaret Boggs, and Emily Rolader received undergraduate research awards from CETL (Center for Excellence in Teaching and Learning).

The Department of History and Philosophy actively encourages undergraduate students to conduct research in their areas of interest and present it in appropriate venues such as conferences and publication. Department faculty have expertise in a wide variety of areas and can mentor students who undertake such research and assist them in finding conferences and publications in which they can share their research results with other scholars and the public. Students interested in undertaking a research project should contact the department to be referred to the faculty member best suited to assist them.
