Dr. Sabine Smith receives Regents' Teaching Excellence Award

 

KENNESAW, Ga. (Aug 3, 2010) — Congratulations to Dr. Sabine Smith (Associate Professor of German) who has been selected as the recipient of the fiscal year 2011 Regents’ Teaching Excellence Award for faculty in regional and state universities. Dr. Smith was selected from a group of outstanding teachers from across the University System.

In her letter to Dr. Smith, Associate Vice Chancellor for Faculty Affairs, Dr. Linda Noble, emphasized Dr. Smith’s “leadership and contributions in building the German program” at KSU and for her “dedication in designing student learning experiences outside the classroom and across disciplines.”

Dr. Smith was recognized by the Board of Regents on March 26, 2011 at the USG Gala.
