Drs. McCafferty and Scherer publish a new article in The Prison Journal

KENNESAW, Ga. (Oct 9, 2017) — Drs. McCafferty and Scherer published a new research article this week called "Beyond Recidivism: Exploring the Predictive Validity of a Correctional Risk Assessment Tool on Offender Victimization" in The Prison Journal.  Using data from a sample of approximately 1,900 male and female offenders released from prison, this study was the first to find that measures from a risk assessment tool designed to predict criminal recidivism can also validly predict offender victimization.  For more information, the article can be found here: http://journals.sagepub.com/doi/full/10.1177/0032885517734493
