Katherine Perrotta has received the Laska Distinguished Dissertation Award in Distinguished Teaching

 

KENNESAW, Ga. (Oct 4, 2017) — The American Association for Teaching and Curriculum has awarded the Laska Distinguished Dissertation Award to Katherine Perrotta. She will be traveling to Denver in October to present her research and receive her award.

Katherine Perrotta is a History and Teacher Education instructor. She earned her B.S. in Secondary Social Studies from State University of New York and M.A. in History from the City University of New York College of Staten Island. Katherine is a doctoral student at Georgia State University. Her Ph.D. will be in Teaching and Learning with a Concentration in Social Studies Education. Katherine's coursework includes United States History, trends and issues in social studies education, qualitative research, social foundations of education, and educational policy studies.
