Kennesaw State to Offer New Bachelor's Degree in Journalism and Emerging Media

KENNESAW, Ga. (Jan 7, 2016) — In an effort to make its communication program more competitive and responsive to industry trends, Kennesaw State University’s School of Communication and Media will offer a Bachelor of Science in Journalism and Emerging Media.

Following approval Wednesday by the Board of Regents of the University System of Georgia, the new major expands a journalism and emerging media curriculum previously offered as a concentration within the Bachelor of Science in Communication major. The new major will be offered starting in the fall 2016 semester.
