PhD Candidate, Wim Laven, Elected to a 2-year term as Governing Council member

KENNESAW, Ga. (Apr 24, 2017) — At the 26th IPRA General Conference on ‘Agenda for Peace and Development'Freetown, Sierra Leone - 27th Nov. to 1st Dec. 2016 Hosted by the University of Sierra Leone, Wim Laven presented "Can we teach peace in a time of war?" (a paper) and "3 Case Studies: Forgiveness and Transitional Justice" (an interactive panel).

Wim was also elected to a two year term as a Governing Council member on the 2016-2018 International Peace Research Association's Board representing North America.
