Sociology majors visited Kia Motor Manufacturing
KENNESAW, Ga. (Nov 16, 2016) — Sociology majors visited Kia Motor Manufacturing on Friday, November 11 for their Social Organization class. They had extensive discussions with plant managers while working on research projects on the impact of foreign corporations on the state of Georgia. The class was open to the online students as well; a few drove from as far as Augusta to benefit from the experience. Some have tried Japanese and Korean food for the first time while on the Kia trip!
The students have enjoyed a lot learning outside the classroom! Thank you Dr. Darina Lepadatu for arranging this fantastic opportunity!
