Celebrating Success at the 2024 Norman J. Radow College Awards Ceremony
The 2024 Norman J. Radow College Awards Ceremony, held in the University Rooms in
the Carmichael Student Center, is an annual event dedicated to recognizing the exceptional
achievements within our college community.
KENNESAW, Ga.
(Apr 22, 2024) — by: James R. Turner
Dean Katie Kaukinen opened the event with remarks celebrating the achievements of
faculty, staff, and especially the Radow College students. Norman J. Radow and his
wife Lindy Radow, their daughter Lisa Hurd and her husband Joey Hurd were there. Mr.
Norman J. Radow was the event’s keynote speaker.
The event had more than 200 in attendance. Students, faculty, and staff enjoyed a
catered event to honor those who have demonstrated outstanding dedication and perseverance
throughout the academic year. Awards, certificates, and commemorative Hooty Hoo owls
were presented to the honorees for their accomplishments. Many of Radow College’s
students excel even when navigating the challenges of balancing work, family, extracurricular
activities, and financial constraints.
This celebration highlights the collaborative efforts of faculty, staff, and students
along with their extended network of supporters, to foster a supportive environment
conducive to success. The Norman J. Radow College of Humanities and Social Sciences
takes pride in this tradition and is grateful to all who contributed to its success.
If you could not attend the event, please see the list of award recipients below and
be sure to reach out and congratulate them!
Congratulations to our 2024 Norman J. Radow College award recipients!
