Students and Faculty Gather to Celebrate Love in its Many Forms Around the World

KENNESAW, Ga. (Feb 14, 2020) — On Thursday, February 13, dozens of students and faculty from nine different language programs, from Arabic to Spanish, gathered in the halls of Pilcher Building to celebrate friendship and love in its many forms.

Students and faculty read poems from literary greats like Goethe along with poems they created in their language classes. Attendees aksi enjoyed a variety of food brought by Department of Foreign Language faculty.

The event, organized by Senior Lecturer of Spanish Patricia Wood, began as a simple faculty potluck a few years ago. This year was a resounding succcess, overfilling the halls. Next year's celebration has already been planned to take place in the Social Science Atrium.
