Minor in French and Francophone Studies
French is a world language with more than 200 million Francophones in 68 countries on five continents. It is used heavily in the domains of cooking, fashion, dance and architecture. Paris is the world’s number-one tourist destination as well as home to some of the best graduate programs in the world, including the École Normale Supérieure, the École Polytechnique ParisTech and the Université Pierre et Marie Curie. French is also an official language of many international organisations, including the United Nations, the European Union, UNESCO, and NATO.
